SOUKTIK BHATTACHERJEE
FOUNDER of LASAR LAB
Souktik Bhattacherjee is a space architect and PhD researcher dedicated to designing safe havens on the Moon for future astronauts and parastronauts. Beyond his work in space design, he is passionate about making space education more accessible and inspiring the brightest minds across the world to shape the future of interplanetary living.
He is a researcher at the Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources (ATCSR) at the University of Adelaide, where he is working alongside a team of space architects to bridge the gap between space architecture and space medicine. With a strong passion for space architecture, he has contributed to studies on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) of the lunar surface for habitability assessment, urban planning for extraterrestrial settlements, and the design of deployable space habitats.
